Player Development - Coach Brandon Powers
Experience as Coach
Coach Brandon Powers (Coach BP), from Chesapeake, Virginia, is a multi-sport athlete and George Mason University graduate. Now based in the DMV area, he works full-time as a basketball skills trainer, VHSL-certified basketball referee, and walking vlog creator. With past experience at the Washington Nationals and local Parks & Rec departments, Coach BP brings a deep passion for sports, recreation, and community engagement. He’s dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and memorable experiences for athletes of all ages and skill levels—always leading with purpose, energy, and heart.
Coach BP is 1000% a "Sports & Recreation Enthusiast" with a passion to push all players to the next level that they can achieve. It fits perfectly with CTS Elite's core philosophy on player development. All CTS Elite players LOVE the passion, skills and drills he demonstrates and pushes to make them better.

Player Development - Coach Ilias Bey (Coach Q)
Experience as Coach
Coach Q (Ilias Bey) is the new coach for the CTS Elite HS team. With a wealth of experience spanning AAU and high school basketball, Coach Q has made significant contributions as a Player Development Coach for Slam City, an Assistant Coach for Fairfax/PYBL, and notably, a key figure in recruiting and player development during his tenure with Family Over Fame from Northern Virginia. Most recently, Coach Q has been coaching the Virginia Elite 5th Grade Boys and is a valued member of the coaching staff for the Nike EYBL / MHC prestigious program, serving as an Assistant Coach for the Jet Academy, MADE HOOPS CIRCUIT 17u team, founded by NBA Champion Kenny "Jet" Smith. His involvement is a testament to his dedication and expertise in the sport.
